Our Mission

At CADS, our mission is to deliver the highest quality of patient-centred care in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Founded in 2017, CADS was established with a vision to make essential oral surgery services accessible in the Beaconsfield area.

Over the years we have grown into a trusted facility for patients requiring dentoalveolar procedures, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and orthodontic preparations.

Our Team

Our team comprises Qualified and experienced surgeons, Visiting Oral Medicine Specialists, Surgically trained highly specialised dental assistants, dental reception staff and Practice Manager.

Our surgical team comprises Mr. C Warren Crossley, a distinguished maxillofacial surgeon and Dr. Krati Garg, an accomplished oral surgeon both with many years of experience in oral surgical procedures, teaching and training of undergraduate and post graduate dental students at The Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne.

We realised the growing need for management of oral mucosal lesions, chronic orofacial pain and temporo-mandibular disorders. We have visiting Oral Medicine specialists Dr. Amrita Gokhale and Dr. Vidya Iyer consult from our Beaconsfield location to help care for patients with those particular needs.

Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to provide a patient-centred approach to our practice. Supported by our skilled staff, we strive to create a comfortable and compassionate environment for all our patients, ensuring that their needs are met with the utmost professionalism and care.

Meet Our Surgeons

Dr Krati Garg

Dr Garg is an experienced Oral Surgeon with over 19 years of experience in the field.

Dr Garg trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Gujarat university, India and was awarded a gold medal across all specialties for Master of Dental Sciences in 2006.

She completed her Australian Dental Council Licensing Exams and Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2009.

Dr Garg serves as the Director of Surgery and Oral Medicine at the Royal Dental Hospital in Melbourne where she oversees the Oral and Maxillofacial, Oral Medicine, Anaesthesia and Day Surgery Unit and CSSD departments.

In her fifteen years of service at RDHM Dr Garg has held various leadership positions and has passionately pursued quality improvement in service provision to public patients, teaching and training of undergraduate and post graduate dental students and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical trainees. She is also a member of the Board of Safety and Quality at Dental Health Services Victoria for last ten years.

Dr Garg is a Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and has authored peer-reviewed articles published in highly regarded dental journals and is a member of the RACDS regional committee for Victoria and Tasmania.

Dr Garg was awarded the Fellowship of Pierre Fauchard Academy in 2023 for her contributions to the field.

In addition to being an Oral Surgeon, Dr Garg has also completed Master in Journalism from University of Melbourne with Honours and was awarded Best Student Portfolio for her published work.

Dr Garg is committed to extend the same dedication and care to her patients in private practice as she has been an advocate for at the Royal Dental Hospital, Melbourne.

Mr C Warren Crossley

Mr Crossley is an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over twenty two years of experience in the field.

He qualified as a dentist in 1991, completing his training as a maxillofacial surgeon in South Africa in 2004.

Mr Crossley completed his Australian Dental Council exam in 2010 and led the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne for many years as a Head of Unit, where he now continues as a consultant surgeon.

During his tenure as a Head of Unit at the Department of Oral Surgery, Mr Crossley was instrumental in conducting surgical up-skilling courses for dentists and was a supervisor of training for the Oral and Maxillofacial trainees pursuing specialist training.

Mr Crossley has served as a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne for over ten years and dedicated his time to teaching and mentoring undergraduate and post-graduate dental students as well as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical trainees. He is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Mr Crossley has been involved with the implant clinic at the Royal Dental Hospital for many years and has extensive experience in the field of dental implants.

Meet Our Visiting Consultants

Dr Amrita Gokhale

Dr Amrita Gokhale is registered Oral medicine Specialist who has completed the Oral Medicine speciality training program at Melbourne Dental School and the fellowship exams of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia, with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Oral Medicine) from the University of Melbourne.

During her training program, Amrita worked at the Dental Oncology Unit at Peter MacCallum Cancer Center; the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service Co-Operative; and The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne’s Oral Medicine clinic, where she continues her service as a consultant.

Amrita’s research interest is Pain Education for the management of chronic oro-facial pain and Temporomandibular Disorders.

Dr Vidya Iyer

Dr Vidya Iyer is a registered Oral Medicine Specialist who provides comprehensive care in all aspects of clinical oral medicine, including diagnoses and management of Oral Diseases, Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine.

She completed her three-year specialty training in oral medicine, with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Oral Medicine) from the University of Melbourne after practising extensively in both public and private sector in WA for 12 years. Her training comprised of clinical roles at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter Mac Callum Cancer Centre, Alfred Hospital and Skin Health Institute.

Dr Vidya Iyer has public appointments at Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and Barwon Health. Dr Iyer enjoys practising the full scope of oral medicine, with a strong focus on delivering treatment with compassion and empathy, ensuring her patient’s well-being is maintained at the highest level.
