Financial Policy

We are specialist surgeons and endeavor to deliver a high quality of care to you. Consultations and procedures under local and general anaesthesia incur fees depending on the type of procedure. If you have private health insurance, a part of the fee for the consultation and procedures may be covered by your health care fund.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and direct deposit (EFT). We encourage cashless transactions, however, for your convenience we do accept cash. Please advise our staff in advance if you prefer to pay cash. Please remember you are fully responsible for all the fees charged for any consultation or procedure regardless of your insurance coverage.

We will send you a detailed invoice after the surgery is complete. Our staff are always available to clarify any questions you may have.

If your procedure is under general anaesthetic, the anaesthetist and the hospital will have their own separate fees. If you have private health insurance, you will need to check with your health fund how much they will cover. You may have to pay an excess for hospital admissions depending on your type of cover.

Please note:

Further costs may be associated with any additional procedures to manage complications as well as procedures that may need to be undertaken during the surgery (for example submission of pathological tissue for histological examination).
